Find the Perfect Wedding Dress Cheaper

By

I saw this amazing dress when I got married. Being a larger girl and living in a small town in the freaking north pole (northern Sweden) my perfect dress was going to have to be made, or so I thought. I had pictures of what I wanted for my dress and took it to the local seamstress. This seamstress in this little small town needed months to craft my dress and nearly the cost of a designer dress. Despondent and discouraged I wandered back to work that day head hung low.

The following day i began researching wedding dresses online. In the span of 3 hours I managed to find a nearly 100% match of my dress. I had so much luck with finding a match of the dress I decided that I would find the dress at half price. It took a few weeks and some help from my friends but I managed the miraculous feat of my dress at half the price.Of course it wasn't exactly the dress I had designed, but you really couldn't tell the difference.

If you're willing to work for your dress you can find the unimaginable for cheaper. Check for yourself. A friend of mine just spent $1200 dollars on a Judd Waddell dress. I found a similar dress for her second hand for $600..

Actual second hand ad :Judd Waddell designer gown.

This dress is a white 100% silk organza gown. Dropped waste with box pleats.
.....Size 10, with no alterations except for loops added to make petticoat. Worn
once and brings good luck to bride. Will take best offer."

Weddings are the single most important day in a woman's life other than the birth of her children. This is the day we pledge our life and love to our prince charming, and we've been practicing wearing those glass wedding shoes since we were 5 years old and leared about dress up. I love to talk about weddings and how to save money by planning early and enlisting friends. I also give step by step planning information, which I believe is essential to any wedding planner.

Weddings are stressful and beautiful at the same time. The last thing a bride needs is to be frantically searching for everything she needs. Outsourcing to a professional wedding planner is out of the budget range of most brides and grooms, however, outsourcing to friends and family for free, is something a bride can do. A bridesmaid is very happy to choose her own dress. Let your bridesmaids decide, together, what they will wear in styles that you want.  For example if your colors are pink and black and you decide you want vintage bridesmaid dresses, then have them come to you with 5 styles choose.

Let your mother, sister or brothers check local dollar stores for candles for centerpieces. Give cousins and especially your groom jobs for searching. Most people will not only be happy to help they'll jump at the chance. Wedding table centerpieces are easily put together by anyone in your family who is creative. Let them pick the flowers, with a budget in mind. Tell anyone shopping for you about wholesale markets. Fruit is another centerpiece option often overlooked by many designers. Country and fall themed weddings can have small pumpkins or harvest baskets as centerpieces. All of those can be purchased inexpensively at the local flea market or dollar stores.
